Connect + Educate + Empower
We bring shark conservation into classrooms across the globe. We have participated and led countless hours of education. So far, the Shark Angels have spoken to audiences in Texas, Ohio, Florida, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, California, New York and Arizona and have even ventured around the world into Canada, Russia, England and Yap, Micronesia!
We love talking to kids about sharks. And adults, too.
Using technology is a great learning experience for kids, especially those who may not be able to see sharks in the wild or wouldn’t normally hear of shark conservation issues because of where they live.
Most kids are heavily influenced by the negative portrayal of sharks in the media and as a consequence, typically fear sharks. We target this issue and dispel the myths. Our main goal in these presentations is to change their perception, show sharks are not their enemy, and to reassure them there is no reason to fear sharks.
Our presentations are age appropriate and can tailor any of our presentations to your classroom, dive club, after school program, environmental club or even church or temple group.
We ask for a minimum of 10 students for a free presentation. If you have less than 10 students we ask for a donation of $150 per session.
