Shark Angels believe our children have an enormous voice – and power: we fuel that. We spark the next generation of empowered changemakers, providing them with many of the tools they need to combine their passion with their unique skills to fuel kindness for other species, one another and our shared planet.
Kids have the power to change the world. And they should know it.
By working with young changemakers, connecting them, and fueling their passion, we can inspire far more children to participate in positive, results oriented shark conservation – while building the ethos of kindness.
Working With Kids Around The Globe
Since the start, Shark Angel’s mission has always resonated with – and involved youth. We’ve worked with kids around the globe to bring about change. And we’ve already seen a long-lasting impact; our first Shark Angels are well on their way to bringing about change through marine biology, environmental law, and media advocacy.
Using sharks as a dialogue, we’re formalizing our approach to bring eco-minded kids together to change their perspectives, teach them soft skills, remove obstacles, fuel their unique passions, and provide them with the support, training and infrastructure they need to change the world, all while connecting them to each other as well as inspirational activists, scientists, film makers, marketers and artists.
Our goal is to leave the world a better place for children and leave better children for the world.
We want to touch as many youth as possible. So, we’re creating a program for developing, connecting and empowering youth leaders – particularly in underserved communities.
Creating A Youth Program With Your Support
Our plans are ambitious, but attainable with your support. We are:
- Providing much needed ecology, conservation + marine science education
- Giving kids tools to pursue their passion and directing it towards change
- Developing + connecting young leaders through the Shark Angels mentorship program
- Building an online community that magnifies kids’ ability to make an impact
- Employing innovative technology & media to inspire children around the globe
- Connecting shark science with conservation + make it compelling for all ages
- Curating and developing educational + outreach assets to be used independently by classrooms – and even parents – around the world
- Igniting local action and activism
- Developing the framework for local Shark Angels clubs to perform valuable community outreach
